As our community has grown, it’s become a bigger and bigger task to properly manage it. We’ve made a big step forwards a few years ago when we introduced the Country Manager role, and are super thankful to our lovely team of country managers who’ve been working tirelessly at expanding and maintaining the platform in their countries.
A person that played a massive role in helping us roll out the Country Managers system is Stef, who set up many of the structures our CMs use every day, and has been the de-facto contact for many people in the community for the last few years, helping lighten the load on Tim.
He joined Street Art Cities on September 15, 2018. Over those past 7.5 years, he added 3,476 locations and processed 2,074 reports. Let that sink in! In the last two years, he also helped build the Country Managers team, coached others, cleaned up data, and contributed in countless other ways. That level of commitment is rare.
Today, Stef is transitioning back to being a hunter and handing over the gauntlet to others in the community.
Stef, thank you for everything you have done! Your impact on Street Art Cities is massive!
This is ultimately an appreciation post. For Stef, and for everyone who asks questions, shares ideas and art, and helps onboard new people. Thank you to the community for helping us learn, collaborate, and move forward.
If you want to contribute in a different role, or if you have ideas to improve the platform, please do reach out. We are always open to listen, collaborate and help street art get the platform it deserves. Let’s make this a special year, with more meetups, new friends and inspiring new artworks.
