Hey Stef,
Re the Be Free piece that @brggsr said he had merged the other day, it’s a weird one because I can’t see it on the Be Free artist page on either the web site (I tried refreshing the page heaps of times), or the app.

This is the marker.

We recently realised we had a duplicate artist “Buff Diss” and “Buff diss”.

We have consolidated them all under “Buff Diss” so the empty artist name stub “Buff diss” can be deleted please.

Hey @Stef ,
Here’s a couple more “Duplicated Artists” actions for you please.

Firstly, “Katherine Gailer” is the same artist as “Katira Art” - I have moved the artwork that was under “Katherine Gailer” to “Katira Art” where all the others are, so the empty “Katherine Gailer” stub can please be deleted.

Secondly, we have a number of artworks under the artist “David “Meggs” Hooke”, but I notice there are also some works in the USA under the artist names “Meggs” and “House of Meggs”, could these please be consolidated under “David “Meggs” Hooke”.

It was created in error as we already had the artist under her full name “Efrossini Chaniotis”

I believe that Brode Compton is the same artist as Sektor. He sometimes also goes under Sekt Compton.

@Andrew_Haysom do you know more about these artist handles? Which one should we use?

Not an artist i was familiar with until now I’m afraid so I have no idea what the artist preference would be. My research this morning convinces me though that these two are the same artist, so I would definitely merge them. Given we only have one Brode Compton and multiple Sektor’s I would just change the Brode Compton one to Sektor and delete the Brode Compton “stub”.

If the artist wants it different they can always claim their profile and change it.

Came across this one today, “librehem” and “Libre HEM”, I’m assuming these are the same artist, I added my one to “Libre HEM” as it had more artworks.

I consolidated the artworks for an artist today, “James R Ellis”.

The empty artist stub for “James Ellis” can be deleted please.

And another one, after being notified by Neda that we have both Joel Fergie and The Zookeeper, I merged them all to The Zookeeper, so the empty artist stub Joel Fergie can be deleted.

Here’s another duplicate artist for you.

We currently have 26 artworks listed under artist https://streetartcities.com/artists/mande in Australia, Italy and Germany, but there is also one single artwork in Germany listed under Mandy Schöne-Salter, the artists full name.

The artist uses a different spelling than the one in the system, correct spelling should be “Joanna Arida”

Hello,

Scaf oner (a.k.a scaf) is a french artist.

However, there are 1 Scaf and 2 Scaff in the database :

If it is really the same person, I suppose that these artists should be merged into “Scaf Oner” (or Scaf ?).
What’s your opinion ?
