Where do Suggestions go?

Hi there,

I have made my first suggestion for a new Mural in Córdoba, Spain, which is not my usual hunting area and I wanted to edit it and add a line, but I do not know how to retrieve it, because I guess it is only visible to hunters in that city or Super Hunters, so it seems that until someone approves it, it is in a limbo.

Also, is it not possible to add basic tags like “artwork style” or “date of creation” or the “name of the photographer” in suggestions the same way that we do when additions in our hunting cities ?

Thanks in advance!

Coucou :waving_hand:t2: tant qu’elle n’a pas été traitée il va falloir attendre la validation pour pouvoir la modifiée  elle a été faite quand la suggestion car pour le moment je ne vois rien ?

Thanks, Céline

I added it yesterday night, but since the person who makes the suggestion ( in this case, myself) loses all control of the marker, even visibility (unless I am mistaken ), I do not know where it went.

Some of us strive at adding information, so the artwork is well documented, but then it seems that suggestions vanish into thin air, with no ability for the person who has ‘suggested’ the artwork , to even correct a mistake, or add simple tags.

So what is the right way to make suggestions? Just add the picture to a specific address (even though the marker will be incomplete), or take the time to document it but then lose all editing ability and just cross your fingers so the marker will ‘travel well’?

So, the suggestion you submitted last night will be on hold for five days with the country managers for approval. After those five days, it will appear in the hunters’ suggestions, so we can take over from there as well.

If you want, I can keep an eye on it for you. I usually check at least twice a day anyway. Once it has been approved, you’ll be able to make whatever changes you need, but unfortunately, not before then.

I think this attribution is important. Personally, I would say that I fill in around 80% of all the available fields. Since it then appears in your Contributions tab, you can easily go back to it later. With this tab, it’s now much more convenient than it used to be when you had to search by name and so on.

So, personally, if it’s a really important artwork, that’s what I do. If it’s less important, such as a collage in Paris, I just add whatever marker information seems obvious to me, so I can come back to it later in the week.

Ok, thanks a lot

I am still pretty new here, and I have to get used to certain limits, but certainly there is room for improvement in some areas
