what is your favourite story/ lore behind one of your local murals?
Mine is this awesome Storybook mosaic mural on the front of one of our hospitals.

In the story I found out the amazing history of Alexander von Svoboda, who in short went from a prisoner of World War 2 to digging ditches and cleaning up garbage in Ontario, all while working on his art.
He started making mosaic pieces in churches and synagogues, caught the attention of Edmonton, and we asked him to come create a mosaic piece for Royal Alexandria Hospital.
Just a cool story and one of the oldest murals I have hunted to date.
