Thumbnail missing

Hi! The other day, I added a few art works in Nuneaton on Bridge Street. Most of them added fine, but I had problems with one of them (for Daub) as the signal reception was poor. I tried several times, and finally got the images added, but in doing so, the original thumbnail got deleted. So now, when you zoom in and click the red circle indicating a cluster, you’ll see a blank space (see attached image). The blank space is selectable, but I’d like to be able to put the thumbnail back in place.

Is there anything i can do, or do i need to delete the entry and re-add it?

Weird! The easiest way to fix this is re-uploading the first image, that one is used to generate the thumbnail

Okay, things are now getting weird.

I deleted what I intended to be the thumbnail image, and reloaded it, but SAC has now decided that the other image (the wide shot) should be the thumbnail. Frankly, I’ll take anything as an improvement on nothing.

But…

What is visible on the map? Not a thumbnail. Not even as part of the cluster.

Nope.

What it shows up as now is a map pin. Have a look at the screenshot (attached)

The map pin to the left of the cluster red circle is the position of Daub’s piece. The cluster, should you select it, are 4 other murals adjacent to Daub’s work.

Um…

HELP!!!

Well, the good news is that it is no longer a map marker. The bad news…?

…it’s back to not having a thumbnail.

uh…?

Apologies about that!

I found something that was preventing it from re-generating the image, still unsure how this happened in the first place, but I think I just pushed a fix that will prevent this from happening in the future.

It might take a while before the mobile app starts showing the new image, since it quite aggressively caches previously downloaded images, so that we don’t use up more mobile data from users than required.

I’ve just checked, and your fix has done the trick… thank you!
