New place added which is missing on the map

I have added a new creative space in Bochum at the location Schauspielhaus. It isn’t shown in the map, nor in my Bochum dashboard. I have added it as a hunter of Bochum. What is wrong? Can anyone help me?

You might need to refresh the map. If you select the three dots (top RH corner on app), you can refresh the view.

The next question is, was it ready for publishing? It might be saved as a draft.

Hey Andrea,
I can’t offer a solution, I think we may need @thomas to help with this one.

I can however validate that I think there is an issue with the marker that you mention, for reference it is this one.

When I look at the marker I can see in the Details tab that it shows Bochum, Germany, and I can see the icon on the map that is shown on the actual marker page (see Screenshot 1).

However, when I look at the city of Bochum, I do not see the place listed in the list of Places for Bochum, and the same area of the map (when viewing the map for Bochum) where the icon showed within the Place marker, is blank (see screenshot 2).

So, I wonder if there is some sort of database indexing issue for this record and it is somehow not associated with Bochum for some reason.

Anyway, I think it is one for @Thomas to nut out.

Thank you for giving response. I was a bit onfused, but now it’s quite clear. It is stiil there but hidden and somewhere else. I can’t do anything but wait for @thomas :slight_smile:

I don’t know how this happened at at all - I think someone deleted the marker, since it didn’t exist in our database anymore. I’ve restored it now, and now it shows up on the map.

Let me know if you ever come across something like this happening again in the future!
