Would it be possible to extract the location on the map from the GPS data in the EXIF of the uploaded photo(s)? This would make it a lot easier to find the correct location on the map. Obviously this would only work if the data is present.

Hi Edwin! Love the way you’re thinking, this is something I’ve been experimenting with. Don’t have anything ready, but this is something I’d like to release later this year.
I’ve also been experimenting with using the data from already uploaded images for quality assurance, wrote a little blog post about it here:
