We’ve made a small but meaningful change to how edit suggestions are reviewed on Street Art Cities.
When someone suggests an edit to an artwork or site in a city, the hunters from that city will now get the first opportunity to review it. This gives people with local knowledge the chance to weigh in before the edit becomes visible to super hunters, country managers, and admins.
After 5 days, unreviewed edits automatically open up to the wider reviewer community.
Some details:
- This applies to regular marker edits and new artwork suggestions. Removals, merges and small changes like updating tags still go out to all reviewers straight away.
- For edit suggestions, the original creator of the marker gets the ability to accept or decline the suggested change right away, in addition to the local hunters.
- It only kicks in when the artwork belongs to a city. Suggestions without a city are visible to super hunters, country managers and admins from the start.
- We’re rolling this out gradually, so it won’t apply to previously submitted suggestions, and the timing may be tuned as we learn how it works in practice.
