Thanks for letting me know, I’ll look into that

@thomas how does the search function work in the ‘previously on this wall’ tag? Is there any automatisation behind it?

Wouldn’t it be a good idea to suggest archived murals with the same address or within a radius of say 100 m?

If this was easy to do, it would certainly make things easier.

That would be cool! Currently, that’s technically a bit tricky (but possible!), but I’ll add it to our backlog.

The current search will prioritise other artworks in the same city or uploaded by the same user.

Got a question from one of our hunters where to find this in the app.

Wouldn’t it be great to make it look the same on the app as the website?

It’s in the Advance Details:

Go to that page, click add marker, and then select Previously On This Wall

A new line appears in the table. Select that cell, then pick the appropriate artwork.

The drop down box is EXTREMELY limited in listing the available art works, so you may have to refine your search to the road name to find it. Once you’ve (finally) found it, it will look like this:

Unfortunately, there is no indication on the Edit Artwork page that it has been selected, so you have to trust it’s there.

Finished page (scroll to the bottom)

I knew that off course :face_savoring_food:, but the question was more where users can find it on the app. It’s a bit hidden.

On the website it looks great now.

So it would be great to, to copy that look to the app.

Ah, gotcha.

App:

But I agree, the website looks better

Would indeed be nice to introduce the more visual style for the app as well - we have a backlog ticket to build that at some point in the near future :+1:

I’ve been playing around with this cool feature a bit (finally) and have got a few cents to throw in the jar about it:

  • when adding the prvious artwork through the tag, it seems to show tha artworks in a “latest added” sorting. Would it be possible to give it a sorting that that gives you the geographically closest markers top of the list? That would give you the highest chance to see the actual previous work top of the list without having to search. If the secondary sorting would be date added, that could even be perfected
  • The timeline on the website looks great! But would it not be better sorted the other way round? Now the oldest work is shown top of list and the newest bottom. If you switch it around you go further back in time the more you go down
  • The timeline is now shown in both the new timeline tab and also in the details tab (with the other tags). Seems redundant

Really love this feature, and now it also looks the same in the app.
@thomas thanks for pushing this thru so fast.

@Edwin_Muller somewhere in the thread above I suggested the same as your first remark. But it’s not that easy to create.

I agree with your point to sort it down with the oldest at the bottom and with the double info in the timeline tab and details tab @thomas :eyes:
