Introducing the Open Street Art Data Initiative 🔖

Last week part of our team was in Lisbon, attending the Urban Creativity conference, which is all about social sciences and geography research related to Street Art. We met some awesome people and got some great suggestions for improvements to our platform.

One of those we implemented immediately: a way for researchers to use some of the data we’ve together collected for their research. That data can be downloaded (for research purposes only!) from open.streetartcities.com, giving researchers a way to quickly get a dataset of thousands of artworks they can use to run their analyses on.

We intend to work very closely with some of the researchers we met over the past few days to give them tools and a platform to share their research, and looking forward to the great things that will come out of this!
