London is known for the Thames as the waterway running through the city, but it also has several canals. The one I live near is called the Regent’s Canal, dug in the early 1800s as part of a way to get goods between the East and West of the city.
It’s almost 14km long, and a lovely place to walk, away from some of the busy roads and into a bit of nature across several different areas of the city.
It also has a bunch of great street art and colourful graffiti, a lot of which I realised I take very much for granted! Need to start actually hunting and adding it to the London map!
