Double artworks on SAC:

Hello to you all,

Maybe something like this is asked before, but I’m having trouble finding a similar issue. Asking for your help with the following:

A few weeks ago I updated the city of Assen because there were only 4 artworks on the map. Now there are 13.
Yesterday evening I discovered 2 of those “new” artworks were already on the map, but they were placed in the city of Groningen, both by the artists themselves (KMG and Ciclope, both verified). I know that I can move them to Assen and remove my uploads, but the artists have added less information on the artworks, or no information at all, except for a title with the KMG work.
I’m not able to contact them through Instagram.

Can someone tell me what’s the best thing to do? I suppose it’s not okay to delete uploads by varified artists?

I’m not sure what the “correct” thing is, but I think what I would do is merge my additional information (and photos if appropriate) into the artists upload and correct their location (if it was incorrect), move the record into the correct SAC city, and then delete mine.

Probably the least efficient way of doing it, but I think that is what I’d do, so their “Added by the artist” record remains.
