Hi! Im a new member, became a verified artist just a week ago. I would like to cooperare also as a hunter, as In my city (Ushuaia, Arg) there are hundreds of murals. How can I do so?
Yes, you can be both, the design of Street Art Cities is very good so you can have both an artist profile (multiple even if say you were an artist who painted under different street names), and multiple hunter profiles for different cities as well. I have multiple hunter profiles, an artist profile and a Country Manager profile.
I suggest you just apply for the hunter profile using the normal button, and just mention that you already have an artist profile in the comment.
I am already a Hunter, What is the Process to become a verified artist?
I have a mural I just finished painting, my first commisioned piece. it’s being unvailed tomorrow and I want to add it to the street art map. put myself on the map so to speak.
Should I put my name down as add new artist and then claim the art? or can I become an artist first and then add the artwork from there?
I have other art I have done before but its always been smaller 4’x 8’ panels as part of a collective mural project. or part of a free wall where I have no idea how long it will last. this one is two (both doors of a double) garage doors and not only the largest piece I’ve done but also the one thats not being taken down in a year or more. also although on private propperty it is publicly viewable by anyone who wants to walk down the alley.
Thank you all for this amazing community resource and taking the time to help me.
Yes this is certainly possible (to have both a hunter and an artist profile), once established you’d then just be able to switch between your hunter cities and artist profile by slecting from the profile drop-down.
I have a couple of hunter/city profiles as well as an artist profile, and my country manager profile. It is a testament to Thomas that the system is so well designed allowing this flexibility.
When I established my artist profile, I simply added one of my artworks using my hunter profile, then claimed the profile using the button my page. I’m sure there may be other ways to do it, but at least this way you can choose exactly how you want your artist name to appear.
Once you’ve claimed your profile, it might be worth tagging Tim here as he will need to approve the artist claim.
