This platform started as a hunter community first, meaning that our hunters started documenting the art in their streets the best way they could. But not everyone is as talented as a photographer or the mural is just impossible to take decent shots without a drone.
Artists joined the community later, which sometimes create a tension because artists normally have way better pictures or have pictures that provide better aesthetic information.
Just like on the streets, RESPECT is one of our core values, and that means we just don’t interfere with someone else’s contribution without asking. If you ever feel that a particular upload doesn’t represent your work well, the best approach is to reach out to the hunter directly. A simple, friendly conversation usually solves everything. Everyone on the platform takes great pride in what they do, and sometimes things can feel sensitive, but with open communication, it’s easy to find common ground. You’re always welcome to add your own photographs to complement the existing ones, but modifying a hunter’s upload isn’t allowed.
You can easily add your pictures to an existing upload and add yourself as photographer in each picture you upload. So the hunter knows who made the changes. In each picture you have a ‘photographer name’ field as shown below.
