Hi,
Im with an artist friend, who did download SAC app. He has had to delete it, as every time he tried to open a different app, such as Microsoft Edge, it would randomly ask if he wanted to open Street Art Cities.
He has an android phone.
Interesting!
The SAC app automatically offers to open any links that start with https://streetartcities.com/*, but disallows all other links.
Given that we’ve never heard this before from any other Android users, I wonder if they either:
-
have changed some system settings that determine what app opens specific URLs
-
or run a really old version of Android that is more liberal with offering app-suggestions to open a link with
Hard to tell from a distance, unfortunately. If you want to look into this a bit further (and fully understand if you don’t!), a screen recording showing SAC opening when pressing a link would be super useful.
I doubt he will re-install the app, sadly.
FWIW, I’ve had no trouble with it, but I usually leave the app on all the time.
