App crashed - 403 error

Hello team, it appears we have a technical Issue with the app.

I’ve been getting the same error when I try to add photos to one of my ā€˜Places’ in Reading.

Is there a limit to the number of photos you have have in a ā€˜Place’? (I’m adding via a browser, not the App).

Hey Thomas, Neda is off hiking today so may not be able to respond, so I will tell you what I know as we were speaking about the issue yesterday.
Firstly, when Neda first told me about it (yesterday morning Melbourne time) I tried to use the app too, but it crashed on me as well, I didn’t see an error message, for me it just crashed and dropped back to my iPhone main screen.

Then, unfortunately I got called away on a family emergency and didn’t connect again with Neda until the evening, when she was still having the same issue, but the app was working for me ok, and that still appears to be the case (ie earlier this morning Neda told me still not working for her, but it is for me).

When I asked her yesterday evening to describe what was, and what wasn’t working, Neda’s response was to send the screenshot attached, and she said

ā€It’s giving me that error for everything
It opens this screen, but then nothing else works after, except for the forum.ā€

Anyway, that’s all I know, hope it helps somewhat.

We’ve added some systems to block malicious bots from being able to execute DDoS attacks on our system, but I think it’s somehow erroneously determining Neda is a bot :sweat_smile:

I’m going to look into this first thing on Monday to fix it!

Hey @thomas , just to throw in with @Ibrahim i am also getting the error 403 when trying to add newly created artworks to an existing place.

If you want to take a look, try ā€œtown centre east car parkā€ in Cheltenham, and try adding the most recently added 6 artworks for the city (all created today).

That example is very useful! Just fixed it and now it seems to work to add these to the place.

Hello, am I in trouble for being ā€˜Virusfreak’? :joy: I was dessert for your new security software.

Downloading new version of the software didn’t help, it was worth a try.

Yesterday I even got this new error type, preventing me to log in at all.

I am using the reply option to your email to send this message. It times out even after I try logging in as soon as the link is sent to my Gmail inbox.

I can confirm that I can now add photos to an existing ā€˜Place’.
