About blog posts on Street Art Cities

We’re immediately kicking the new year off with a new feature!

With a small group of people, we’re testing a way to make our feed more interactive, by including posts from blogs maintained by our community members.

For participating members (like @Inspiring_City), the blog posts show up in the feed like this:

How it works

For participating users, we integrate with their website’s RSS feed:

An RSS feed is way for a website to notify users when new content is available. This is often used by people staying up to date with blogs using RSS readers, like Feedly.

Most blogging platforms (Wordpress, Ghost, Medium, etc.) support this, often recognised by this icon:

We’ve rolled this out for a few users, including our own official SAC account which shares our blog posts, and our Street Art Community account which auto-shares any public forum theads.

If you have a blog and want them to be auto-published on Street Art Cities, please get in touch, and we might be able to add you to the beta.

If you are a user seeing these posts in the feed, and you have feedback, please also let us know, we’re really looking forward to hear what people think!
