Question about badges?

Hi everyone, it’s just a question about the cosmetics in the app, but it got me wondering.

I’ve noticed that some profiles have Hunter or Collector badges, while some newer hunters only have the Spotted Artwork badges. Does anyone know what determines which badges appear on a profile, and whether the Hunter/Collector badges are earned differently or unlocked at a certain point?

Those are all Forum related though. I know there are Hunter/Collector badges, but I’m not sure if there is an equivalent page for listing all the available ones, and what the criteria for each is.

Thanks, but I meant the circle badges visible on the app, not the ones on the forum. :slight_smile:

You have to go to your profile

Click on ‘my posts’ or ‘my messages’, then down right , click on ‘preferences’ and then scroll down to ‘Flair’ and there you can change it.:wink:

Thanks, I’ve checked that but it seems to refer to the badges on the forum only. I meant this badge below- only the “seasoned” hunters seem to have it, while a lot of new profiles tend to lack it despite adding the artworks.

Hi, I was wondering about the badge Certified and Licensed badges (completion of the interactive new user tutorial and advanced user tutorial), where can I find these tutorials? Thanks :grinning_face:

If you look in your message inbox (from the forum), you should find a message from annie_bot telling you about a tutorial. If you haven’t received it yet, it means you haven’t reached the level yet.

It’s been a while for me, but I think i received my post when I reached trust level 2…? Basically, i had been active on the forum for a few weeks and not done anything untoward, like starting a thermonuclear war or stuff like that :joy:

Thanks for flagging! I think our system for assigning badges might not be able to keep up with the number of users we have now, so I’ll look into how we can improve it.
