Can very old pieces like paste-ups from 2012 be post on the map? The quality of the intervention is not the same of course, but it is still very good, visible, colors still vivid, even after those years. I think it is a good example of urban art history being preserved for such a long time.
As long as it’s not super damaged, those definitely should go on the map I think!
I thought paste-ups weren’t supposed to be posted, just like stickers. I guess I was wrong.
We generally recommend not posting things that might not stick around for a long time, because they often don’t get marked as removed when they’re gone.
But sounds like these have been around for a long time, so I think they should be fine. Right @TinyTim?
I will post it on the map and if someone consider that it is too damaged or inappropriate i will remove it
My opinion is that there is a place for paste-ups on the map. Paste-ups are a big part of Melbourne street art. I think the key determining factor should be that as a hunter you only paste stuff like this if you are willing to make a commitment to keep them updated. That said, I know of paste-ups that have been around for 10+ years, so many do last.
