Hi! I saw this post about the Events page, which is a brilliant idea. However, I think the layout could do with a bit of improvement, at least as to how it displays on my Android mobile app.
If you’re showing past and future events on the page, could you please show the year? It took me a little while to realise that everything that was showing on the page when it first opened was a mixture of 2025 and 2026, and all of it in the past. My initial thought was the first events were for September this year, moving through to next year, and where were this months events?
What might be better is have past events hidden, and only shown on request.
The app version is a bit basic indeed. It’s on the to do list to improve.
But if you open the event page in your browser, you’ll get a better performance
It would also be helpful if they were displayed in date order? I was checking the list to see if an event had been added and I had to basically just scroll through them all, as they weren’t in chronological order.

What about an event we could select (the ones we are interested to attend) and show this in our profile (and get a reminder a few days before…)?
Next step-> We have the seen artworks, what about the ‘attended’ events button, or even better, showing the history of attended events in our profile?
How about some AI magic in the background and male this view dynamic? Showing / highlighting the events near the city currently being checked / country we’re in at the moment? Collected markers (usually on to-see lists of many of us). For me seeing the festival going on in the city / next to the city I’m planning to visit would be a real benefit / add-on in opposite to scrolling through the list of events on and on.
And maybe for the future this feature can be used for the events organisers to reach out to the people…?
Call me a snob, but given the damage AI does to the environment, the theft of intellectual property in the training of AI, and that AI is taking work away from creatives, like artists, i think having AI on this site will give completely the opposite message to artists of SAC wanting to treat artists with respect.
