We’ve done quite a bit of work behind the scenes to bring our mobile app up to date.
In addition, we’ve added a few new features:
Better map loading & clustering
The previous version of the app could sometimes randomly stop showing markers, and didn’t let you zoom out very far.
The new version has more consistent loading and the same zoom and cluster behaviour as the website, making it easier to quickly see art in a different city, country, or contintent!
Edit from the app
As a hunter or country manager, you can now directly edit an artwork from the app, using the new ‘Edit’ button. If you’re not a hunter or country manager, tapping the ‘Edit’ button brings up a screen where you can suggest an edit, which will be reviewed by the hunter of that city, the country manager of the country, or an admin.
Artworks & artist tags
Both artworks and artists now allow you to suggest additional tags, so you can help improve the quality of the data on the platform.
